December 2026 — Paul R Tucker, author of the acclaimed dark fantasy saga Brood of Angels, today announced the forthcoming premiere of his first AI-animated original series, The Rebellion of Ravens, coming exclusively to Jibzee Streaming in Winter 2026. The series marks a landmark expansion of the Brood of Angels universe from the printed page to the animated screen and introduces the world of the Norophim Realms to a global audience for the very first time.

The Series: The Rebellion of Ravens

The Rebellion of Ravens is a dark, gothic AI-animated fantasy series set in the Norophim Realms, a world of medieval grandeur and supernatural darkness populated by fallen angels, demonic courts, dragon kindred, shapeshifters, knights, and human kingdoms that believe they govern themselves and do not. The series is set in the age before kings,  a prequel to the events of Brood of Angels: Book I and tells the origin story of the darkness that defines the entire saga.

THE STORY

Lucifer Of Ravens, the most powerful fallen angel in the history of the Norophim Realms, Leader of the Sons of Darkness (SODs) has been imprisoned by force. Not destroyed. Bound in a place so perfectly concealed that the very knowledge of its location was stripped from every mind that held it, save two souls who vowed never to speak it. The age of light begins. The watchers called the Thrones declare the matter settled.

But Lucifer Of Ravens left behind his brood. Two broods bound to him by blood and darkness: the Dragon Kindred, ancient scaled wyvern creatures who carry the fire of their father’s original fury; and the Brood of Ravens, the half-blood human children of a fallen god, born immortal enough to outlast kingdoms and dark enough to unmake them.

From their midst rises Mephistopheles Of Ravens, the youngest son of Lucifer, known across the Realms as the Demon Spawn. A mind like a siege weapon and a grief so ancient it has calcified into purpose. He does not rage. He does not grieve in the open. He plans. And what he has planned across courts and shadows and the dreams of sleeping kings is the search for his father’s prison. He will find it. He will free him. And the Archangel Michael, keeper of the seal and commander of the Guardians of Light (Gols), is the only force standing between Mephistopheles and everything he has sworn to accomplish.

A New Chapter in a Living Universe

The Rebellion of Ravens marks a milestone in the Brood of Angels universe, the first animated expansion of the world Paul R Tucker has been building since the publication of Brood of Angels: Book I. In partnership with Jibzee Originals, the streaming platform’s dark genre content division, Tucker has developed a series that draws on the rich visual tradition of illuminated gothic medieval manuscripts, Byzantine iconography, and the dark painterly aesthetic of works like Castlevania and Berserk to bring the Norophim Realms to life in animation for the first time.

The series is set in the era before the events of Book I, a deliberate creative choice that allows both existing readers and new audiences to enter the universe through the same door. Longtime readers of the novel will find the mythological roots of the saga finally illuminated. New audiences will discover one of the most distinctive dark fantasy worlds currently being told, complete, cinematic, and epic in the tradition of the genre’s finest.

This is only the beginning. The Rebellion of Ravens is the first of a growing slate of animated content expanding the Brood of Angels universe, leading ultimately to the live-action flagship adaptation of Brood of Angels: Book I, a full-scale production designed to rival the ambition and scope of prestige medieval dark fantasy at the highest level.
